Resort Living – located in South Canberra

With a focus on entertainment and a connection to the home, pool and the rest of the property, this project epitomises the fusion of architecture and outdoor luxury.

Elevating this backyard to the pinnacle of outdoor entertaining required strategic planning and bold design elements. Taming the expansive, sloping block whilst integrating the new garden and extension was achieved through multiple layers and a strategically placed sets of stairs.

Leading down from the expansive middle-tiered turf level a is a deck area surrounded by inbuilt seating overlooking the pool. Located within the pool area feature stepping stones connecting the deck to the alfresco area. This space provides additional zones for lounging, cooking, and dining. Complimented by surrounding planted garden beds with a large feature palm, the space is truly an entertaining paradise.
